My daughter refuses to take this off after painting sessions, and honestly the linen is sturdy enough that I don't even worry about the mess. The forest green hides the inevitable splatters way better than our old cotton one, and it's held up fine through a dozen washes already.
The green is a perfect shade for fall baking days, and the linen feels soft but sturdy enough to survive my daughter's flour explosions. The unisex cut means my son can wear it next without looking like he borrowed a frilly costume. We've washed it three times already and it still looks brand new.
The linen is light enough that she forgets she's wearing it while painting, and the forest green hides the inevitable juice stains better than any of her other aprons. It also looks genuinely cute on her, which is a bonus for the photos.
