I've washed these twice already and the linen came out even softer, no pilling or fading. The set of two is perfect for a small dinner, and they mix well with the cream placemats I already had.
The mocha color is exactly what I hoped for—rich enough to dress up the table but muted enough for everyday dinners. They feel sturdy in the hand yet have that soft, lived-in linen texture right out of the package, and they pair well with my other neutral table accessories.
