I hung this in my bedroom window and the semi-sheer weave is exactly right, bright enough to read by but nobody can see in from the street. The tab tops slid onto the rod in seconds and the linen drapes in soft folds without any ironing.
The light gray linen hangs in soft folds that make my living room look way more expensive than it is. I was worried semi-sheer would leave me feeling exposed, but it blocks the view from the street while still letting in that nice diffused daylight.
The tab tops slide right onto my rod without any rings, which made hanging these so much easier than my old eyelet panels. The linen has that soft, slightly rumpled drape I wanted, and it filters the afternoon sun just enough while still keeping the room bright.
