The tan color is warmer than it looked online, which works nicely under my white dinner plates. They're thin enough that glasses don't wobble, and a quick wipe with a damp cloth handles most spills.
These washed up soft right out of the package, no stiff break-in period at all. I've been using them under bowls for weeknight dinners and they barely show the crumbs. Two per set is a little limiting, honestly thinking about grabbing more.
